“第12届环太平洋高能自旋物理国际研讨会,PacificSpin2024”(The 12th Circum-Pan-Pacific Symposium on High Energy Spin Physics, PacificSpin2024) 将于2024年11月8日至11月12日在中国合肥举行。本次研讨会旨在加强环太平洋地区和其他地区的物理学者之间的交流，鼓励年轻物理学者参加本次研讨会。
一、 会议主题：
本次研讨会将专注于粒子自旋的相关内容。自旋是基本粒子的基本属性。关于自旋的发现经常触发物理学家开启物理学的新篇章。核子的自旋结构已被广泛研究，特别是在EMC结果发布以来的过去30年里。目前正在研究核子自旋的横向结构和三维图像。这些提供了对QCD的重要测试，并有助于我们了解QCD。相关的主题如下：
l 核子的横向和纵向自旋结构
l 极化部分子的分布函数和碎裂函数
l 横向动量的分布依赖
l 广义的部分子分布和形状因子
l 未来电子离子对撞机（EIC）中的自旋物理学
l 重离子碰撞中的自旋极化
l 晶格QCD和有效QCD模型中核子的自旋结构
l 新的想法、方法和未来的设施
二、 会议日期与地点：
本次研讨会将于2024年11月8日至13日在安徽省合肥市皇冠假日酒店举办。11月8日报到，11月9日至13日为研讨会的正式日程。
三、 报名方式：
本次研讨会以网络注册为主，注册时间为2024年8月1日至10月22日，请参会代表及时提交注册材料。

本次研讨会注册费标准如下：折扣价( 2024.9.15前)为教师2000元人民币(研究生1500元人民币)；正常价为教师2500元人民币(研究生2000元人民币)。注册费在2024年11月8日到达注册处时以人民币支付。

The 12th International Circum-Pan-Pacific Symposium on High Energy Spin Physics
The 12th Circum-Pan-Pacific Symposium on High Energy Spin Physics, PacificSpin2024, will be held in Hefei, China from November 8 to November 12, 2024. This Symposium aims to enhance communications among physicists from the Circum-Pan-Pacific region and other regions. Participation of young physicists in this Symposium is strongly encouraged.
1. Conference Themes:
This symposium will focus on the content related to spin. Spin is a basic property of elementary particles. Discoveries concerning Spin often trigger physicists to open a new chapter of physics. The spin structure of the nucleon has extensively been studied, in particular in the last 30 years since EMC’s result was released. The transverse structure and 3-dimensional picture of the nucleon spin are now being investigated. These provide important tests of QCD and help our understanding of QCD. The relevant topics are as follows:
l Transverse and longitudinal spin structure of the nucleon
l Polarized parton distribution functions and fragmentation functions
l Transverse momentum dependent distributions
l Generalized parton distributions and form factors
l Spin physics in future electron-ion colliders (EICs)
l Spin polarization in heavy ion collisions
l Spin structure of the nucleon in Lattice QCD and effective QCD models
l New ideas, methods and future facilities
II. Symposium: Date and Venue:
The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Hefei, Anhui Province from November 8 to 13, 2024. Check-in will be on November 8, and the official schedule of the conference will be from November 9 to 13.
III. Registration method:
The conference will mainly be registered online from August 1 to October 22, 2024. Please submit the registration materials in time.

IV. Registration fee:
The registration fee for this conference is as follows: the early registration fee is 2000 CNY (1500 CNY for graduate students). Late registration fee will be higher: 2500 CNY (2000 CNY for graduate students). The registration fee can only be paid on site in CNY upon arrival at the registration desk on November 8, 2024.
